Good day readers,
Around October 2017, I had left my high-paying job. It was a well-thought decision. Despite that, I had an emotional strain for nearly a month. My parents were afraid because of my irresponsible pursuits. They have the obligation to do so, at least they didn’t want their son to be a failure. I wrote this post that time.
My friends, notably a few, carried me across that phase and I was soon back on track and completed one successful year on a new job. This blog post is about the things that had happened in the last 12 months of life.
The first 6 months were hectic, I had to do my day job and prepare for my higher studies. It was a dual life. I started a bit late in terms of preparation. In the Month of May, I got the results and I had obtained admissions in four Universities. I accepted the offer from Aalto University and proceeded with my Visa and other proceedings. Boom! My Resident permit was rejected for an obvious reason. This was more than 8 months of hard work and I have spent nearly one-third of my salary for all the procedures. It was hard but still studying abroad was an ambitious milestone for me considering my current economic situation. I have started working on the next set of things.
Of course, I would love to quote:
Bruce Wayne: I wanted to save Gotham. I failed.
Alfred Pennyworth: Why do we fall, sir? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up.
Apart from that fiasco, the year was fabulous. I traveled across all the Dravidian states of India. I have stricken a few things in my bucket list.
Spend a day in the forest:
Mudumalai Tiger Reserve
Kayak, parasailing, jetski
Gokart, Bouldering, chasing trains of course!
New Delhi, UP, Goa
On the other hand, the bucket list is getting updated.
Happiness is a choice. I think I have found, what makes me happy.
PEACE OUT :O
